2065438+September 2008, after the museum self-evaluation declaration, the provincial museum industry organization evaluation, the national museum evaluation committee organized expert review, and reported to National Cultural Heritage Administration for the record, the China Museum Association decided to approve Dongyang Museum as the third batch of national third-class museums.
The whole museum is a convex box structure with four floors, with exhibition halls on the east and west sides and a lighting atrium in the middle. When I came to museum square, the first thing I saw was the banners of Dongyang Museum and China Dinosaur Town. Formed the theme of the discovery and restoration of China Dongyang Dragon, systematically introduced the living conditions of dinosaurs in Dongyang, supplemented by the complete narrative of relevant popular science knowledge, and embodied the theme of "Dongyang is a paradise for dinosaurs and a harmonious home for human survival". On the second floor of Dongyang Historical and Cultural Exhibition Hall, "Beyond the Red Land —— Dongyang Historical and Cultural Exhibition" subtitled "The Story of Dongyang, the Hometown of Education and Hundreds of Workers", takes the basic characteristics and historical development of the local natural environment as the main line, takes "the land of singing mountains and painting water" as the theme, "the country of promoting learning and attaching importance to education" and "the hometown of competitions for hundreds of workers" as an illustration, and finally forms Dongyang's emphasis on education and handicrafts.
The "Dongyang Historical and Cultural Exhibition" is based on three themes: a beautiful land, a country that is strong in learning and teaching, and a hometown where all kinds of workers strive for success. Taking the cultural relics unearthed from mound tombs in the Western Zhou Dynasty and the Spring and Autumn Period as an example, it is clarified that Dongyang is an important place in ancient Vietnam; Display Wuzhiwang County with celadon products from Geshan Kiln and Gefu Kiln and cultural relics from the South Four Pagodas; Emphasize the formation of the ethos of advocating Chongwen and studying hard, the history of "hometown of talents" and "hometown of education"; And through the exhibition of Dongyang wood carving, bamboo weaving and other craft products, the historical origin of "the hometown of all kinds of works" and "the hometown of architecture" is expounded. The exhibition systematically introduces the history and culture of Dongyang by means of cultural relics, pictures and scenes.
