Web network management supports the configuration of 20 trap target hosts. When the number of configured Trap target hosts exceeds the limit of the number of web network management, a prompt dialog box will pop up, prompting that the target host list is full.
operation sequence/order
Trap setting
Select "system management >; SNMP & gt trap settings ". As shown in figure 17-24.

Select on or off in the SNMP trap.
Click the source interface selection button of "Source interface for sending trap messages" to configure the source interface for sending trap messages.
When the "source interface for sending Trap messages" is incorrect or needs to be restored to the default, you can put the mouse in the source interface display box and click the "Backspace" key on the keyboard to delete the source interface.
In the "Select Interface" dialog box that pops up, there are two ways to select the source interface:
In the interface list, select the radio button in front of the required interface.
Enter the name of the interface in Interface Name. Click "Search". In the listed interface list, select the radio button in front of the required interface.
Choose the first method when the number of interface lists is small, and choose the second method when the number of interface lists is large.
Click "OK"
If the operation is successful, return to the Trap Settings interface, and the information in the Source Interface for Sending Trap Messages will be changed to the specified interface.
Configure trap target host
Create a new trap target host
Select "system management >; SNMP & gt trap settings ".
Click New in the trap destination host. As shown in figure 17-25.

In the "New Trap Target Host User" dialog box that pops up, enter or select various parameters in turn, as shown in the table 17- 1 1.
Click "OK".
If the operation is successful, the interface will return to Trap Target Host and add a new configuration item to the list. Repeat the above operations to add multiple trap target hosts.

When v 1 or v2c is selected as the trap version, select the community name.

When selecting SNMPv3 version, you need to configure the security level.
There are three options:
No authentication, no encryption.
Authentication is not encrypted.
Authentication and encryption.
VPN instance
Specify the VPN instance name.
Description:
The AR5 10 series does not support VPN instances.

Modify trap target host
Select "system management >; SNMP & gt trap settings ".
Click? The row of the table entry to be modified in the Trap Target Host. .
In the pop-up dialog box, reselect various parameters, as shown in table 17- 1 1. Where the IP address of the target host cannot be modified.
Click "OK".
If the operation is successful, the interface returns to "Trap Target Host", and the corresponding data in the list will change according to the configuration.
Delete trap target host
Select "system management >; SNMP & gt trap settings ".
In Trap Destination Host, select the check box in front of the entry you want to delete, or select multiple options in the header to select all.
Click "Delete".
In the prompt dialog box that pops up, click OK.
If the operation is successful, the interface will return to "Trap Target Host", and there will be no table item just selected in the list.
