Although space is magnificent, the space environment is not friendly to human beings. With a little carelessness, human beings may take away precious lives in mysterious space. Therefore, the country can be said to do its best to protect astronauts whose value is like diamonds. It is also an unprecedented long-term task for China to keep astronauts in an unfamiliar claustrophobic environment for a long time. After they died, people were also quite curious about the living environment and conditions of astronauts.
Yang Liwei is envious of the smallest node module in the space station.
Tiangong Space Station consists of several capsules, and the capsule is composed of several different small modules. Taking the core cabin as an example, it consists of three structures: node cabin, small column section and large column section. Three astronauts live and work in the cabin, and the space needed for their activities has become a concern. After all, astronauts are as precious as national treasures and shoulder the heavy responsibility of promoting the development of the space industry. Their physical and mental health has always been concerned.
If they are allowed to live in a narrow and claustrophobic space for a long time and in a harsh space environment, even if their psychological quality is superior, it is difficult to ensure that nothing that everyone does not want to see will happen. In the historical process of human spaceflight, there have been cases in which astronauts are extremely anxious because they have been working in space for a long time, and there have also been cases in which foreign astronauts quarrel fiercely on the International Space Station. Narrow space will also cause a lot of inconvenience to human life and work. However, with the node module of the space station coming into everyone's field of vision, the worries about the living space of astronauts vanished.
Node module is the smallest module in the core module. When astronaut Nie Haisheng opened the hatch to reveal his true colors, many people were really amazed at the size of the node module. After Nie Haisheng opened the hatch, he was photographed sticking his head into the node module. The contrast is so strong that people suddenly feel the sense of space in the node cabin. The node cabin is only the smallest "transfer station" in the whole cabin, and even its space is so large that the space of other cabins is self-evident. After seeing the picture of Nie Haisheng entering the node module, Yang Liwei, the "first flying man" of China Aerospace, couldn't help sighing, expressing his admiration for the area of the "space house" built by China and the astronauts who could enter the "space house" to perform tasks.
What's the use of node cabin? Why do you need such a large size?
In the space field, China has long been blocked by the technology of western countries. This also means that China can only rely on its own efforts to develop its space industry. As we all know, space research needs to invest a lot of money, and the cost of building space equipment is priceless. At the beginning, the International Space Station was built by 16 countries, and the Tiangong Space Station was developed and built by China. China's spending on the Tiangong Space Station is unimaginable. Consuming one cubic meter of space materials may be a huge expenditure. So, why did China build such a large node cabin?
This is inseparable from the role of the node cabin. The node module acts like a "transit station", through which astronauts can open the doors to different modules, thus living unimpeded in the space station. However, in our daily life, we see a crossroads, and sometimes we can't tell the east from the west. There are six doors in the node cabin, each of which opens in a different place, and one of them is the hatch. If astronauts accidentally choose six identical doors and open them without preparation, the consequences will be unimaginable. In order to prevent this from happening, the staff posted a reminder "road sign" on each hatch to ensure that the astronauts would not get lost.
The transportation hub is the job of the node cabin, but it will also be used as a part-time "valve cabin" for astronauts to perform walking tasks in space before the personnel-specific valve cabin is put into use. When used as an air valve cabin, it needs to accommodate at least two astronauts to wear extravehicular spacesuits. If the space is narrow, the astronauts can't stretch their hands and feet, which will bring inconvenience to the action.
"Space House" leads the world, and "Tian Wen" asks questions in space.
The International Space Station will be retired soon, and the Jiuwen Space Station will become the only space station that can be used in space. It is worth mentioning that in the original design of the space station, China originally planned to build the China Space Station with reference to the design of the International Space Station. However, with the rapid development of China society and space science and technology, the design of China Space Station has been expanded and improved bit by bit due to the appearance of various new materials and technologies, until it has the scale we see today.
As an important milestone in China's space history, Tianwen Space Station has reached the pinnacle of human space science and technology at this stage with its own efforts. Since ancient times, China people's infinite fantasy of the vast universe has been answered step by step in the development of modern science and technology. Qu Yuan's question about everything in the universe in Tian Wen may be answered soon after Tian Wen Space Station won the sky. For the development of China's space industry, top-down exploration is needed.
