Breakthrough plot analysis
Breakthrough is adapted from the novel People's Property. It tells the story of party member cadres and masses represented by Qi Bennan (Jin Dong) and Niu (Geng Le). Inspired by the revolutionaries and entrepreneurs of the older generation, they resolutely abide by the party spirit, find out the truth and strive to restore justice for the people in the face of the difficulties encountered by groups and enterprises.

There are two parallel lines in the TV series Breakthrough, one is Qi Benan's Promotion Adventure played by Jin Dong, and the other is Qin's Revenge Adventure played by Chen Xiao. The parallel interweaving of the two lines makes the plot exciting and touching.

On the line of Jin Dong's Qi Beinan, Qi Beinan, as the "second child in ten thousand" of the group, suddenly changed from the propaganda director to the chairman, party secretary and full-time leader of Jingzhou Zhongfu Holding Group. But is a sudden promotion really a good thing? In the face of his "flooding accident" in Jingzhou, Kibeinan is more like a person who was temporarily sent to carry a bag.

Even so, he has aroused public dissatisfaction. Shi Hongxing, played by Yan Ni, once dominated the world in Jingzhou. Naturally, he was very dissatisfied with Qi Beinan, who was one level older than himself. Shi Hongxing regarded Kibeinan as the person who moved his cake, and alienated him downward while provoking him upward, which made Kibeinan's life very difficult.

After Kibeinan's "new official took office with three fires", the middle-level people who had muddled along before also played their own abacus, which made Kibeinan very headache. If someone comes up, pave the way for themselves by bribing. Some people call themselves "people who eat melons" and want to stay out of it. Others simply made trouble and created the illusion of "public money travel", so that Kibeinan was reported six times in a row.

However, the troubles in his career are not over yet. In the family, Kibeinan's wife has more or less brought him some career resistance. Fan Jiahui, the wife of Qi Bennan played by Qin Lan, is the head of Jingzhou Times. She doesn't want her husband to take office, and she doesn't want to watch Kibaki deal with the thorny mess.

Contradictions and pressures in all aspects are worrying. Even if Kibaki has three heads and six arms, it is difficult to turn the situation around. However, Lin, the chairman of Zhongfu Group, also told him when he ordered Qi Beinan: "Don't blame your predecessor, don't blame others, and cross the sea to show your true colors."

This seems to be an inspiration for "painting cakes", but it can really become the motto that Kibaki believes in and practices. How he will escape from danger in the workplace and turn around the defeat will also let the audience wait and see.

In Breakthrough, Chen Xiao plays Qin, a former reporter of Jingzhou Times, who was sentenced to two years' imprisonment for extorting 654.38 million yuan from a subsidiary of Zhongfu Group. When Qi Ben came to power, Qin also walked out of the high wall and resumed his normal life. However, everything changed because of the prison experience.

His job was gone, his friends took all his things and his wife left him. Even if he really wants to see his daughter, he can only relax his thoughts by watching videos.

Qin is not just a lonely former reporter. Qin's predicament today is actually not caused by his blackmail, but by the conspiracy behind it.

Qin suspected that he was framed, because he made an in-depth report on Zhongfu Group and came into contact with those hidden dark areas in the group.

Desperate, Qin also decided to find out who framed him through his own secret investigation and wash away his grievances. However, this road is not easy. As soon as he got out of prison, he was targeted by several people, and everyone's purpose was unknown. Whether Qin, played by Chen Xiao, can struggle against the hidden crisis with his own thin strength also makes the audience sweat.
