Morphological characteristics of strawberry
Herbs perennial, 10 to 40 cm tall. Stems below leaves or subequal, densely spreading. Yellow fur. Leaves trifoliate, petiole short, thick, obovate or rhombic, sparsely round, 3-7 cm long, 2-6 cm wide, rounded at the top, broadly cuneate at the base, lateral leaflets with skewed bases.
The edge is serrated, and the serrations are extremely sharp. The upper part is dark green with a small amount of hair, and the lower part is pale white-green, with sparse hair and dense veins. The petiole is 2 to 10 cm long and densely covered with yellow fur. The fruit of strawberry is as big as aggregate fruit, with a diameter of 3 cm and bright red. Sepals stand upright and close to the fruit, and achenes are oval and smooth. The fruiting period is June-July.
