Qinhuangdao is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of the eastern end of Hebei Province and one of the important cities on the Beijing-Shenyang line.

Qinhuangdao City is located in Qinhuangdao City in the northeast of Hebei Province, 28 1km away from the capital Beijing, bordering Yanshan Mountain in the north, Bohai Sea in the south, Liaoning Province in the east and Tangshan City in the west. Qinhuangdao was named after Qin Shihuang's east tour here and sent people across the sea to seek immortality.
