In order to promote the implementation and development of college students' service to the Young Pioneers, at 20 10 12: 30, the "Information Cup" research contest of the School of Information Engineering of Guangdong University of Technology, together with the colorful volunteers association 15 volunteers, went to Guangzhou Dongfeng West Road Primary School to carry out a young pioneers counseling activity of "Holding hands with big hands and welcoming the Asian Games happily". With the strong support and guidance of the Provincial Youth Working Committee, college students recalled the fun of childhood, and primary school students experienced the fun of playing games with college students. During the activity, we produced the first batch of 12 college students' off-campus counselors in Guangdong Province.

Before the activity, we made more preparations. Especially in mobile games, we have spent a lot of thoughts, which is related to our college students' ignorance of the activities of the Young Pioneers and the quality of children. We are divided into eight groups, and each group is led by a newly hired off-campus college counselor, plus two volunteers as assistants to play games with a squadron. In this way, our freshmen, sophomores and juniors wore uniform and were active in the playground with the young pioneers.

Before the competition, Wang Zhengdong, deputy secretary-general of Guangdong Young Pioneers Association and president of Guangdong Young Pioneers Counselors Association, gave us a tutorial. In class, Mr. Wang spoke highly of our college students' voluntary service to the Young Pioneers and gave high hopes. He hopes that we can hold high our team banner and make the volunteer activities of college students' off-campus counselors become a brand in Guangdong and a team that can really serve the Young Pioneers. In the remedial class, Mr. Wang also talked about the feasibility, necessity and particularity of college students' off-campus counselors. The feasibility lies in the fact that our college students have the most freedom in their spare time and the most active volunteer service. Moreover, as college students who are about to end their school career, we all know the ups and downs of children and the various needs of their childhood. Therefore, we college students have the ability to help contemporary young pioneers; For the good development of the motherland in the future, and for the survival and development of our next generation in a harmonious and healthy learning and living environment, we also have the obligation to do this work well.

Teacher Wang has a unique view on the nature of off-campus counselors. He said that for teachers now, they are only responsible for teaching, and students' feelings for them are often just teachers, so it is difficult to be friends. Moreover, the current teachers have heavy classroom assignments and do not have enough spare capacity for primary school students! But college students are different. We are young and full of passion. We can play games, chat and be bosom friends with primary school students. Pupils may forget many teachers around them, but they will never forget their friends. In the tutorial class, Mr. Wang put forward requirements for our newly hired off-campus counselors, pointed out the direction for our future work, and explained the team-building history of the Young Pioneers and their love for them.

After the remedial class, we went on to attend the employment ceremony. At the employment ceremony, the young pioneers put on bright red scarves for us. Almost ten years later, we put it on again, and there is a kind of childlike innocence beating. However, at the moment when we bowed our heads and were installed, we realized that we had grown up. Looking at the small host on the stage, the two rows of small etiquette on the right side of the stage, as well as the flag bearer, the small reporter, the squadron leader and so on, we suddenly found that today's young pioneers have made great progress than our primary school days. From the time we entered this primary school to the time we left, we can feel the training effect of the Young Pioneers on children on different occasions. On the second floor of our conference office, I was surprised to find that the Young Pioneers were busy filling out this week's honorary awards. We also learned that they are all young journalists in our school. The construction of the Young Pioneers is similar to that of the Youth League Committee of our school. Young pioneers have brought great development space to children. But at the same time, we also think of the poor classrooms and equipment in rural primary schools and the poor young pioneers, and we can't help but feel the distance between urban and rural education. Compared with the Young Pioneers activities in urban primary schools, the activities in rural primary schools are no longer activities, which reminds us of the necessity of further strengthening the construction of college students' off-campus counselors! We need to go deep into rural education and enter places that need us more.

After the engagement ceremony, we started the squadron competition. Our off-campus counselor plays games with two volunteers and squadrons around us. There are eight squadrons, but each squadron's game has its own characteristics, and none of them are the same. But no matter what the game is and which off-campus counselor is leading, one thing remains the same. We can all see the innocence and liveliness of those pupils. Young pioneers don't have much strangeness to our college students. When they approached us, they talked and laughed, and there were all kinds of smiling expressions. This also shows that our college students' volunteer service and the work of the Young Pioneers are feasible, and our college students can be well integrated with the Young Pioneers and become friends!

During the activity, we cheer for each other and play games together, regardless of you and me. After the game, we took a group photo with the primary school students and left each other contact information such as telephone numbers. Teacher Wang suggested that we could establish long-term network contact with young pioneers. Because many young pioneers today are at the forefront of science and technology. With the development of economy, many primary school students are equipped with computers, and some young pioneers of the school have also posted their own blogs on the school's internet to share their study and life with you. It seems that the school has correctly realized that in this era of scientific and technological economic development, it is not a good choice to prevent young pioneers from surfing the Internet, and guiding them to use the Internet correctly is the right way to adapt to social development.

In the game, we also found that there are many problems in the education of Young Pioneers. First of all, on teachers, we found that counselors and teachers of all squadrons are very serious about children, and teachers play more regular roles in games than playing together. For the all-round development of Young Pioneers and overcoming the pressure of psychology and study, the necessity of the existence of off-campus counselors is shown here. We can design activities specifically for the ability of young pioneers, and play games and chat with them to supplement the friendship that school counselors and teachers lack in educating young pioneers. Furthermore, in terms of students' quality, we find that young pioneers in many cities still have many bad habits and tempers, such as being disruptive, disobedient and disunited, which also shows us that under the exam-oriented education, the defects and doting events of family education have been plaguing today's society. As the tutors told us, many parents only pay attention to their children's learning, and parents arrange their children's food, clothing, housing and transportation. Young pioneers don't associate with others, and families and schools have the responsibility.

This time, we have gained a lot and seen our own shortcomings in the activity of "holding hands with big hands and welcoming the Asian Games happily". The biggest problem is lack of experience. I don't know much about the study life of primary school students now, and sometimes I don't know the direction of the activities carried out by the Young Pioneers. Therefore, to become a qualified off-campus counselor, it is necessary to undergo strict training, such as learning the experience of the former and understanding the students' study, life and ideological trends. Secondly, the direction of our service for the Young Pioneers needs to be clear and the methods need to be innovative. In view of the different problems existing in the Young Pioneers, we still don't have a clear working direction. Many ways of doing things are no longer suitable for the young pioneers now, so we still need to reform. Finally, in the construction of our volunteer team, we should also clarify the requirements of off-campus counselors, strengthen the training of off-campus counselors and improve the internal construction of the team.

This activity is the beginning of our college students' voluntary service to the Young Pioneers, and it is also our first close contact with the Young Pioneers. We should continue to go deep into the Young Pioneers to feel and understand. We will not live up to the cultivation of our country. We will try our best to give back to the society and do something practical for the future of our country and our next generation.
