Ningxia Meteorological Bureau was named as "civilized system" and "civilized industry" by China Meteorological Bureau and the Party Committee and Government of the autonomous region respectively, and was awarded the titles of "National Advanced Unit of Spiritual Civilization Construction" and "Autonomous Region Civilized Unit Model" by the Central Civilization Committee and the Party Committee and Government of the autonomous region. Meteorological departments at all levels in the region have made remarkable achievements in the spiritual civilization construction and party building work of the Meteorological Bureau, and have become one of the five major civilized industries in the autonomous region, which has effectively promoted the reform and development of meteorological undertakings, and has been commended by the Party Committee of the autonomous region, the China Meteorological Bureau and the directly under the authority Working Committee of the autonomous region for many times. District Bureau 1995 was awarded as a district-level civilized unit, 1997 was awarded as an advanced collective for the construction of professional ethics of employees in the whole region, 1998 was awarded as a civilized industry by the Party Committee and government of the autonomous region, and 1999 was awarded as an advanced unit for the construction of spiritual civilization in China. In 2000 and 2009, it passed the re-inspection and acceptance of the civilized industry in the autonomous region. In 2006, 2006060606, by the end of 2003, the meteorological department of the whole region had established 3 national civilized units, 7 district civilized units, 7 municipal civilized units, 7 county civilized units and 3 civilized weather stations, and all meteorological stations in the whole region had entered the ranks of civilized units.
