But because it is not a professional auto repair, I can only drive to the repair shop to ask about the situation and borrow tools to help solve it. Slowly, the team members accumulated a lot of rescue knowledge and experience. When a citizen's vehicle is short of oil, electricity or a flat tire, he will call his friends in Taiwan Province nearby for help with his walkie-talkie. The car owners who have been helped are very grateful and ask them what kind of public welfare organization they are. The word "non-profit organization" gradually sprouted in Zhang Hu's mind.
After much consideration, Zhang Hu and several radio enthusiasts finally decided to do something for the people by radio. On August 6, 20 14, they formally established the "North-South Road Radio Rescue Team".
After the establishment of the rescue team, they relied on radio and QQ group as information transmission carriers to carry out road public welfare assistance within their power. "Our public welfare projects are simple and effective, and everyone can participate. The citizens who got help also joined us. By the end of 20 14, in just three months, our volunteers have exceeded 1000!
As more and more citizens know and recognize us, our rescue tasks are increasing day by day, and the rescue information has changed from once every two or three days at the beginning to two or three times a day. "Zhang Hu said that in order to let citizens get in touch with them quickly and timely when they encounter vehicle problems, he opened the first 400 toll-free hotline at his own expense and cooperated with Linyi Radio and Television Station 899 Traffic Broadcasting.
