Wolf Totem, a book I read many years ago, tells the story of a prairie wolf! Why do prairie people regard wolves as totems? What is the wolf in their mind? What we are talking about here is a "spirit"! Beautiful writing, if possible, I want to see the endless prairie! Birds there, grass there, horses there, and koumiss! Ha ha. . But the wolf can't bear it!
