0 1. Wuyuan Dewan Incident
Speaking of renaming, I have to say that Wuyuan left Anhui, which means that the stable division of Huizhou for nearly a thousand years has been destroyed, and it has also reduced the scruples when it was renamed later. Wuyuan left Anhui twice, both before the founding of the People's Republic of China.
The first time was during the Agrarian Revolutionary War. 1934, Chiang Kai-shek is? Fight bandits? Yes, Wuyuan was once included in Jiangxi, but it was opposed by people from all walks of life in Huizhou. Finally, under pressure, Wuyuan was re-assigned to Huizhou at 1947.
During the War of Liberation, millions of PLA people crossed the river and Wuyuan was separated from Anhui for the second time. For various reasons, Wuyuan belongs to Jiangxi and no longer belongs to Huizhou.
When Wuyuan left Anhui for the second time, we didn't know whether the people had any demands related to returning to Anhui because of the chaotic situation at that time.
02. Administrative divisions
Since the founding of New China for decades, Anhui's administrative divisions have changed a lot, so I won't go into details here. Interested parties can search online? Anhui Historical Atlas? The administrative divisions during that period were completely refreshing and incredible, especially in the 1950s? Super big Wuhu? And then what? Super big Bengbu? .
To get to the point, I'll start with 1982.
In the 1970s and 1980s, China had? Region? This administrative division (between provinces and counties, somewhat similar to the current prefecture-level cities) is located in which part of southern Anhui? Huizhou area? . The area of Huizhou in this period was much larger than that of ancient Huizhou. In addition to the original five counties in Huizhou, Shitai (the main body of shitai county in the past), Taiping and Jingde counties have been added. By the way, although these surrounding counties are not directly under the central government of ancient Huizhou in history, they are also covered by Huizhou culture. At this time, Tunxi City (county-level city) was re-established by 1976, and it is already the seat of Huizhou District Committee.
03. Establishment of Xiaohuangshan City
1979, after the chief designer climbed Huangshan, he was in? Play the sign of Huangshan Mountain? Under the slogan, in 1983, Huangshan Township, Shexian County (in the picture? 1? The area referred to was renamed Tangkou Town and placed under Taiping County, and Taiping County was changed to Huangshan City (county-level city) (hereinafter referred to as Xiaohuangshan City at the county level and Dahuangshan City at the prefecture level).
Due to the entanglement of various practical interests, Huangshan was the beacon of Huizhou at that time, while Xiaohuangshan was sparsely populated (only a few hundred thousand people). At the beginning of Huangshan tourism boom, Xiaohuangshan gained huge economic benefits, but Huizhou prefectural party committee did not.
At the same time, there were differences between the prefectural and provincial committees. Many documents in the province are directly transmitted to Xiaohuangshan City without going through the prefectural party committee, which is also an aspect of intensifying contradictions. It is precisely because of the above situation, coupled with the chaotic tourism management in Huizhou at that time (in fact, it is also very chaotic now), the prefectural party Committee has been arguing with the central government, so Huizhou reform is imperative.
04. Establishment of Dahuangshan City
1987, Xiaohuangshan City and Tunxi City at the county level were cancelled at the same time, and Dahuangshan City was established to replace Huizhou District. The original county-level Tunxi City was renamed Tunxi District, Xiaohuangshan City was renamed huangshan district, and four towns and three townships, such as Yansi Town in the west of Shexian County, were independently set aside to establish Huizhou District.
As a result, the area of Dahuangshan City has shrunk more seriously than that of Huizhou, including only four counties in ancient Huizhou, Tunxi District (and one huangshan district).
