At this point, Yang Jingyu led the guard brigade and the second division of the first army (that is, the first army) to collect supplies in the area of Anchanggang Miaoling, and stayed at the Babaogou small fort tun separated from the wall of Changgang Miaoling at night. On the evening of August 1, Yang Jingyu, Wei, Yang Junheng and Yi Junshan decided to set out for a village in the northwest the next day to raise materials. After the mission, the troops entered Miao Ling, and Yang Jingyu looked at the highway with a telescope at the top of the mountain. After observing the terrain, Yang Jingyu decided to take advantage of the fact that the enemy had not discovered our army's whereabouts and intentions. "Put the enemy down, wait until closer. Some soldiers hope that Yang Jingyu will give the order to start fighting as soon as possible. Yang Jingyu answered with confidence: "Don't worry, we should seize the opportunity to fight. Now the enemy has just got up and is close to the forest. As soon as we fired, they went into the forest, which failed us to destroy the enemy. While the fighting was fierce and our army was in an advantage, unexpected changes took place.
