The main problems solved by the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee are as follows: First, the Marxist ideological line of the Party has been re-established. The plenary session resolutely criticized the wrong policy of "two whatevers", spoke highly of the discussion on the standard of truth, and determined the guiding principles of emancipating the mind, using your head, seeking truth from facts and looking forward in unity. Second, the Marxist political line has been re-established. The plenary session resolutely stopped using the slogan of "taking class struggle as the key link" and "continuing revolution under the dictatorship of the proletariat" and made a strategic decision to shift the focus of work to socialist modernization. Third, the party's correct organizational line has been re-established. The task of perfecting socialist democracy and strengthening socialist legal system was put forward, and a number of major unjust, false and wrong cases in the history of the party and the merits and demerits of some important leaders were reviewed and resolved.
