What's it like to work in the State Grid of a fifth-tier city?
The work is very hard. Our team is responsible for the secondary work of all 220kV substations in municipal districts, all substations in urban areas and some110kV and 35kV substations under its jurisdiction, namely, relay protection, dispatching automation, AC, DC and instrument professional maintenance, defect elimination, large-scale technical transformation and regular inspection. There are 33 substations with 220kV voltage level under its jurisdiction, all with voltage level of *** 125. There are 25 people in the team. The per capita travel time exceeds 200 days per year. As a hand, more than 250 days. The comprehensive automation transformation of the whole station (that is, all the equipment has been changed except once) has been done ten times. Wiring hundreds of cabinets, changing hundreds of drawings, and solving countless technical problems. And I only worked for two years.
