Taiwan Times, referred to as "Taiwan Times", is a comprehensive daily newspaper in Taiwan Province Province. It was founded on August 25th, 197 1, with Wu Jifu as the first chairman and Xia Xiaohua as the first publisher. Its head office is located in Kaohsiung, with the slogan of "independence without party affiliation", also known as "the two major newspapers in South Taiwan Province Province". At present, the chairman is Wang Mingren, the president is Lin Shiying, and the former chairman Wang Yufa is the honorary chairman.
