According to the official announcement of Thailand, after verification with relevant departments, we remind you of the latest immigration policies and precautions in Thailand as follows:
1. At present, Thailand has not opened international transit. Please don't buy air tickets via Thailand to avoid being blocked.
2. According to the announcement of Thailand, commercial flights are still prohibited from bringing passengers into Thailand, but the following 1 1 people are allowed to enter Thailand:
(1 Thai citizen;
(2) The holder, or the person allowed or invited by the Prime Minister or the person responsible for solving the emergency (there may be prescribed entry conditions and time;
(3) personnel of diplomatic and consular missions or international organizations, or representatives of foreign governments who come to Thailand to perform their duties, or personnel of other necessary international institutions permitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including their spouses, parents or children;
(4) Personnel who transport necessary materials shall return immediately after completing the task;
(5) Drivers and staff of vehicles entering Thailand to perform tasks have clear departure dates;
(6) Non-Thai spouse, parents or children of Thai citizens;
(7) Non-Thai citizens who hold a valid permanent residence permit in Thailand or are allowed to live in Thailand;
(8) Non-Thai citizens, including their spouses or children, who hold work permits or are allowed by government agencies to work in Thailand.
(9) Students of educational institutions approved by Thai authorities, including parents or guardians of students. According to the Law on Private Schools, students from non-formal educational institutions and other similar private educational institutions are excluded.
(10 Non-Thai citizens and their entourage who need treatment in Thailand. Including not treating patients in COVID-19.
(1 1 Non-Thai citizens who are allowed to enter Thailand under special arrangements with foreign countries.
3. The above-mentioned 1 1 personnel can apply for entry permit to the Thai embassy or consulate in the host country. Since the entry permit must be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand for approval and issuance, the application usually needs to be submitted at least 10 working days in advance, and at the same time, medical insurance documents for treatment in COVID-19 during the stay in Thailand, RT-PCR nucleic acid detection report for eliminating COVID-19 infection within 72 hours before departure, and an order for designated isolation hotels in Thailand 14 days are also required. Please consult and confirm the specific regulations and requirements with the Thai embassy or consulate in the host country.
4. When you go to Thailand for check-in, you must show your entry permit, medical insurance documents with the insured amount of COVID-19 treatment exceeding US$ 6,543,800 during your stay in Thailand, and the RT-PCR nucleic acid test report of COVID-19 infection shall be excluded within 72 hours before departure. Please consult the airline for specific regulations and requirements.
5. After arriving in Thailand, please strictly abide by the immigration segregation policy in Thailand. Short-term tourists who stay in Thailand for less than 14 days must have RT-PCR nucleic acid detection at the airport at their own expense. Long-term visitors to Thailand who stay in Thailand for more than 14 days must go to designated hotels or places for quarantine inspection for 14 days. If they leave the quarantine area without permission, they will be fined and deported. Please strictly abide by the relevant regulations to avoid unnecessary trouble.
