Shekou Industrial Zone is located in the southeast of Nantou Peninsula in Shenzhen, with Shenzhen Bay in the east and the Pearl River Estuary in the west, facing Yuen Long and Liu Fu in the New Territories across the sea, with an area of 65,438+00.85 square kilometers. This industrial zone is the first export-oriented economic development zone wholly developed by China Merchants in China, which was established in 1979.
Shekou status quo
In 20 1 1 year, the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government successively promulgated the Regulations on Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone and the Interim Measures for the Administration of Qianwan Bonded Port Area, positioning Qianhai as a "special zone among special zones". Shekou, adjacent to Qianhai, is on the rise. China Merchants has invested 60 billion yuan and will complete the reconstruction of the new Shekou in the next 5-8 years.
The regional development of New Shekou follows the idea of "one axis, one heart and three cores", and builds, updates and strengthens the group characteristics of each district.
One axis: Nanhai Avenue is the main axis of development, which not only bears the important function of traffic relief, but also bears the function of more and more comprehensive industrial development axes in urban areas.
One heart: the area centered on Shekou Sports Center and Global Park. Through the transformation and upgrading of the original facilities, it will become a city sports and social activity center with superior quality.
"Three cores": the space carrier formed by the three industrial development clusters with Ocean World Zone, Port-au-Prince cruise home port and Shekou Net Valley as the core, focusing on the development of information technology and radiating the surrounding areas.
