1947 During the Laiwu Campaign and Huaihai Campaign, especially during the Menglianggu Campaign, the six sisters of Yimeng took up front-line military support day and night, mobilizing all the men, women and children in the village to take military shoes for the troops and take care of the wounded and sick. During the election campaign, the six sisters and their villagers only ate one meal a day, and they were busy all day, running back and forth every day. According to incomplete statistics, during the Battle of Meng Lianggu, they led the whole village to buy more than 500 pairs of military shoes for the troops, and often carried out publicity in the village and the front line to boost morale. The six sisters of Yimeng made outstanding contributions to the victory of the campaign.

1947, 10 In June, the masses in central Shandong at that time published a revolutionary dedication entitled "Women All Support the Army", calling them "Six Sisters in Yimeng".

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the six sisters continued the touching scene of their children serving as soldiers. Sisters sent carefully sewn insoles to the soldiers, steadfastly supported the army, and wrote a beautiful chapter of continuing to make new contributions to the party and the country in the new era. General Chi Haotian, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, State Councilor and Minister of National Defense, spoke highly of the "Six Sisters of Yimeng" who made outstanding contributions in the revolutionary war years and socialist construction, and wrote an inscription for them "Six Sisters of Yimeng will never forget their military situation".
