In order to promote quality education and enliven campus cultural life, the Articles of Association are formulated in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education on the recruitment of art specialty students in ordinary colleges and universities and the actual needs of our school.
First, the enrollment target
In line with the requirements of the annual enrollment work of ordinary colleges and universities in China, the ideological and political morality is excellent, and the academic performance is excellent, which is in line with the requirements of the Guiding Opinions on Enrollment Physical Examination of Ordinary Colleges and Universities. The first choice is to apply for Xiamen University (non-art major) and have high-level artistic expertise designated by our school.
Second, the number of students enrolled
Within 1% of our annual undergraduate enrollment plan, it is better to be short than excessive.
Third, recruit special projects.
1, western orchestral music: brass, woodwind, viola, violin.
2. Vocal music (Bel Canto and folk singing): Good vocal music training foundation.
3. Dance: I have received systematic dance training and have a solid basic dance skills.
4. Folk music: The performance level is high.
Fourth, the registration method
1. Students who meet the enrollment conditions and plans of our school should log on to the "Gaopu Admissions" channel on the homepage of Xiamen University Admissions Office before February 23, 2007 to register online. The specific methods are as follows: directly input personal information online, download and print the application form for art specialty students, and form a complete and formal application form after personal signature, recommendation from the middle school and personal photo stamped with the official seal of the middle school.
2. On the morning of February 25th, 2007 (starting at 8:00), I took the official registration form, ID card (original and photocopy) and two recent 2-inch color photos with the same background as the registration form to register for the professional level test of art specialty students in the Art College of our school. Candidates who take part in the professional test of art specialty students organized by the local province must also provide the certificate of passing the test of art specialty students in the local province (original and photocopy). The original is used for verification, and the copy is submitted with the application form).
Five, the artistic level test
1. Test time: from 2: 00 pm on February 25th, 2007.
2. Test content: one song of your choice (self-provided musical instrument and accompaniment); Solfeggio and aural training.
3. Determination of test level: Our school demarcates the artistic level of each registered project according to the test results.
Grid line, determine the list of qualified students majoring in art in our school, publicize it on the website of our school admissions office, and report it to the provincial admissions office where the qualified students are located for the record.
4. The requirements for the final qualification of art specialty students in our school shall be implemented according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education. Provincial candidates who organize the unified examination of provincial art specialty students must have the qualification of provincial art specialty students and reach the artistic level qualification line of our enrollment project, in order to finally obtain the qualification of our art specialty students.
Six, cultural examination and voluntary reporting
Candidates who have obtained the qualification of art specialty students in our school shall register at the time and place specified by the provincial admissions office where their household registration is located and take the unified entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities. The first choice in this batch must be reported to Xiamen University (non-art major), and the professional choice has been adjusted.
Seven. Allow entry
Candidates who have obtained the qualification of art specialty students in our school and volunteered to fill in our school for the first time and whose majors have been adjusted can be admitted within 20 minutes (but not lower than the first batch of admission control scores in the province where the candidates are located) with the approval of the provincial admissions office, and the majors will be arranged in combination with our enrollment plan and the enrollment situation in the province where the students are located. If the above candidates' college entrance examination scores reach our graduation score, our school will give them 20 points for professional admission.

1, because the scores of our school in the provinces of origin can't be accurately predicted, so I applied for the art specialty students of our school.
Candidates' college entrance examination results can not meet the requirements of our school's art specialty students, and they must voluntarily bear the possible impact on subsequent admission to non-first-choice colleges.
2. Art specialty students admitted to our school must abide by the relevant regulations of the school, participate in relevant art activities organized by the school, obey the arrangement and undertake personal obligations during their study in our school.
3. Anyone who practices fraud, once verified, will immediately cancel the qualification and admission qualification of art specialty students.
4. Our school will publish the relevant notices and information about recruiting art specialty students on the website of the Admissions Office in time. Please pay attention to the candidates and do a good job of cooperation. Candidates are personally responsible for failing to handle relevant matters or providing wrong personal information as required by our notice.
5. The Articles of Association is only applicable to candidates who wish to apply for the first college entrance examination for non-art majors in our school. Candidates who apply for the Music Department and Fine Arts Department of our school should follow the relevant provisions of the enrollment brochure for art majors in our school.
6. The articles of association are formulated according to the relevant documents issued by the Ministry of Education, and the specific implementation process is implemented according to the corresponding policies formulated by the Ministry of Education and the relevant provinces of origin.

Art College of Xiamen University was established in 1983, and enrolled students nationwide from 1990. 1987 was approved to set up two master's degree awarding points in musicology and fine arts; In 2003, it approved the establishment of a master's degree awarding point in art and design; In 2005, the establishment of Master of Arts (MFA) degree awarding point was approved. All majors in the college recruit undergraduate and graduate students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Musicology (music education) major mainly trains compound music teachers and professionals engaged in music teachers, propaganda departments, cultural departments, enterprises and institutions.
Music education offers courses: politics, literature, philosophy, foreign languages, physical education, pedagogy, basic music theory, solfeggio, body dance, keyboard music, folk music, western music, chorus conductor, harmony, polyphony, improvisation, small band arrangement, song analysis and writing, modern music, music appreciation, analysis of forms and works, introduction to national music and music history of China.
There are seven major directions under the discipline of music performance, and the undergraduate majors enrolled in China are: vocal music, keyboard, national instrumental performance, western orchestral performance, theoretical composition and dance. In 2006, the specialty of art management was specially added.
