The school was founded in 1958, and 1979 was named as a provincial key middle school by the provincial education department. It was named model junior high school in 2004 and model senior high school in 20 10. As a complete middle school with a history of nearly half a century, Taichung No.1 Middle School has trained nearly 30,000 junior and senior high school graduates since its establishment. Zhou Xiaolan, a former member of the national women's volleyball team, graduated from this school.
Idea of running a school
