The Korean film Defender is very popular. After 70 days in Korea, the cumulative audience reached 1 1367698, ranking eighth in Korean film history. Lawyer Song Youshuo, the protagonist of the film, is based on Roh Moo-hyun, the president of South Korea 16, who later committed suicide by jumping off a cliff.
