1. Open device and printer settings.
First, click the Windows Start menu, and then select device and printer options. This will open the device and printer settings for Windows.
Find the printer
In Device and Printer Settings, locate the printer to which you want to add the new port settings. Then right-click the printer and select the printer properties option.
3. Open the printer properties window.
After selecting the printer properties option, the printer properties window will open. In this window, select the Ports tab.
4. Add a new port
In the Ports tab, click the Add Port button, and then select the port type you want to add. You can choose a standard port, such as LPT port or COM port, or you can choose to use an Internet Protocol (IP) port.
5. Configure a new port
After selecting a new port type, you will be asked to enter the details of the new port, such as IP address and port number. According to your network configuration, enter the correct information to configure the new port.
6. Save your changes
When you have finished all the settings, click OK to save the changes. Your printer should have successfully added new port settings by now.
