In recent years, with the development of computer technology and the arrival of the Internet era, we have entered the information age, also known as the digital age. In this digital age, enterprise management has always been a huge challenge. Since 1990s, Peking University Jade Bird Beijing Computer College has found that enterprise informatization has been fully developed, and many business systems have been established one after another, which has brought great benefits to enterprises. However, new problems have emerged, and enterprises have put forward the need to update these complex systems, which requires the integration of systems. EAI technology (enterprise application integration) has become a hot target in all walks of life. After the excitement, many people began to realize that EAI is only a "data island" solution, which can not solve the integration of business processes. In addition, although many business systems also support workflow technology, the effect of EAI implementation is greatly reduced due to the close combination of workflow and business logic. Practice has proved that optimized, efficient and low-cost business processes will provide enterprises with a magic weapon to distance themselves from competitors. Efficient business processes can not only improve the operational efficiency of enterprises, reduce their costs, but also enable enterprises to achieve a high degree of automation. Therefore, business process is the core issue of enterprises. In order to adapt business systems to the operation mechanism of enterprises, it is necessary to integrate many business systems more deeply, including data integration and process integration. So BPM (Business Process Management) came into being.
What is BPM?
There is an unwritten rule that you like to play with concepts. In 2005, "ERP Year" was just a slogan. ERP manufacturers spread their prestige and advanced ideas all night. As long as they have ERP, they can adapt. Therefore, as a direct result of ERP in China, it is the end of failure. BPM is the same, because the concepts of BPM, ERP, OA, workflow and EAI are all related, so many of them are inevitably tacky and begin to popularize their BPM concepts. If you are a developer who hasn't learned how to play, you can learn more about BPM and improve product quality, so as not to get lost in the market. Without learning the ability to deceive users and understanding BPM deeply, we can evaluate good BPM products without being deceived by developers.
What is "BPM" is not clearly defined (guaranteed) in a large number of data, because it is a big concept with different meanings in different situations. With the passage and development of time, you can't just call it a definition or description, even an authoritative organization, such as Gartner in the United States, "describes" a family.
It is impractical to embed processes in programs that need to change quickly. You need a manager to design a business process, which requires extracting the logic of the process from the underlying code and being able to change them directly.
