First of all, talk about the equipment of swimming competition.
The SLR camera in our hand can shoot this kind of subject. I think the most important thing is to pay attention to the choice of lenses.
First of all, shoot a group of swimming competition themes, with various scenes, such as the big scene of the competition, close-ups of people, tidbits and so on.
If the most convenient is a large zoom lens, for example, we usually have 18-200? Or 18-300 lens, which will be very dominant in the shooting of the game.
Shoot the big scene of the game on 18?
200-300 close-ups of people
Also, I personally think that the 50-focus lens is very limited in shooting such subjects. The advantage of indoor 50 fixed-focus lens is that the aperture is large, but the focal length is not long or short, so it will be very embarrassing to shoot such subjects. Personally, I think it is enough to shoot one or two fish-eye scenes like this, because even if you shoot ten or eight scenes like this, the effect will be the same, and its picture sense is too strong. Why not use a telephoto lens to take distinctive pictures-such as close-ups of people.
We should learn to see the big picture from the small, and reflect the different highlights of the annual swimming competition through some close-up pictures. It is also important to capture the highlights on the spot.
Second, the control of exposure.
General swimming competitions are basically held indoors, so how to control the exposure is very important.
In the case of backlight, most of the pictures we take are moving on the water, and the proportion of people in the picture is very small, and people are constantly moving. Even if you use the spot metering mode, your focus will not fall on your face so accurately in such a snapshot scene.
If the focus is on white water and the metering point is also water, then the exposure given is naturally that the water surface is normal and the face is black.
Under such a large light ratio, one side must be given up, that is, to ensure the normal exposure of athletes and lose the details of water.
Generally, in such a large light ratio scene, when mobilizing people to prepare for a still state, you can choose the aperture priority mode to focus on the face first and then look at the shooting parameters. If you think the characters are dark, slow down the shutter speed. If the aperture has been opened to the maximum at this time, the shutter is at the lowest limit of freeze motion-about1125 seconds. Then we will consider improving the sensitivity, and finally give a fixed manual exposure combination and shoot with M block.
If the scene we shot is front light or side light, it will be easier. In this case, the camera's automatic metering system is still very good. Select center key metering or evaluation metering to shoot in speed priority mode. Be sure to avoid using aperture priority mode when shooting games. If there is not enough light, the camera will give a slow speed, which will make the photo very empty.
Third: shoot "dynamic"
In sports photography such as swimming competition, it is very important to grasp the "motion". We can use high speed to freeze the instantaneous image, or we can use low speed to create motion. At this time, the speed priority mode is very practical.
High speed solidification moment
When shooting indoors at high speed, we should consider the sensitivity. If the sensitivity is not enough, it must be improved.
If there is not enough sensitivity, the photos taken in that way are underexposed, even if they are brightened later, the image quality will be greatly lost, which is not as good as some noise.
Slow and full of energy
First, give an appropriate focusing speed115-1/50, give the lowest sensitivity, and then let the camera give the aperture.
Hold your breath when chasing focus, press the shutter and move quickly. You must avoid shaking up and down to ensure the success rate of coke chasing. There is another factor for the success of focus-chasing shooting, that is, at the moment of shooting, the shooting speed of the lens and the forward speed of the athlete should be unified, and the lens and mobilization should remain relatively static at that moment.
1/50 seconds
115 seconds
It is very important to master photography skills, and personal experience is also very important. More shooting and communication will definitely make progress. I hope these contents are helpful to you, and please give me more advice if you don't speak well! ! !
