Master Dongye
The 400 Years of the Han Dynasty series of Han history, the second volume, The Rule of Wenjing, was confined to the Himalayas.
It seems that this is because the confrontation of "no sorrow and joy" is not fierce enough. No problem, Ji Kang accepted the challenge and started writing again!
A husband who claims to be a gentleman is at a loss about right and wrong, and neither is a man who does not violate the law. Why is there still a long way to go? If the husband is calm, his spirit is empty and his heart has no pity; Brightheart's body touches people, but feelings are not tied to what you want. Compassion does not exist in the heart, so it can be taught more naturally; Love doesn't depend on what you want, so you can judge high and low and be reasonable. Things went well, so there was no violation; The more famous, the more helpless. Therefore, the gentleman is mainly at a loss, and everything is beautiful; When it comes to villains, it is wrong to hide feelings, and it is also wrong to go against the Tao. who is it? The secret is stingy, and the villain is the worst; There is nothing wrong with modesty, and a gentleman's behavior is also good. So the Taoist said, "If I have no body, what will happen to me?" Those who don't cherish life are kind in your life ... a gentleman's trip is moral, but he doesn't keep the doctrine of the mean before his trip. Let the heart be innocent, don't say yes; Show a feeling of being at a loss, no matter what happens later. ("Interpretation of Private Affairs")
This is the beginning of Ji Kang's On Private Interpretation. An explanation is an explanation. Selfishness is selfish desire and desire. This is Ji Kang's campaign against the famous religion with Taoist "nature" as a weapon, and it is also the first time that he clearly put forward the battle slogan of "let nature surpass the famous religion".
Shouldn't Mingjiao be a famous teacher? The more famous religion, that is, to get rid of the shackles of the reputation of the famous religion, "the saints are nameless"; To let nature take its course is to face up to your heart. The more famous, the more natural. Taoist sages are not famous religious starving people!
Ji Kang explained step by step: A true gentleman should be a person who doesn't care about right and wrong in his heart (a collection of Zoroastrianism orders), and at the same time, his behavior does not violate the laws of Tao. People with quiet temperament and modest mentality will not have arrogance in their hearts; People who are healthy and open-minded will not be bound by desires. If you are not arrogant and impetuous, you can be more famous and let nature take its course; Emotion will not be bound by desire, so that we can treat people equally and understand things. Only when things go smoothly can we not violate the Tao; The more famous you are, the more you follow your heart, and you can ignore the judgment of right and wrong given by the fatwa.
Ji Kang believes that a gentleman should not be bound by the concept of right and wrong, but should be beautiful in understanding and feeling things. Only villains deliberately suppress their desires and hide their feelings, which is against the Tao. Because the villain will be bound by the right and wrong concepts of moral concepts, the gentleman should get rid of these right and wrong concepts. Suppressing desires, hiding emotions, arrogance, meanness and meanness are the worst villains. A gentleman should be open-minded, absolutely detached and not dependent on foreign things.
So there is a saying on the avenue: "I don't even have a body. What's to be afraid of?" Life itself is not particularly precious, but it is precious because it is wonderful. The reason why a gentleman is a gentleman is not because he deliberately guides his behavior; A gentleman goes with the flow, listens to the child's heart, and does not deliberately do it to gain fame; An upright man is open and poised, not bound by foreign things, does not aim at gaining praise.
To tell the truth, every time I read this article, I am deeply impressed. This is the real gentleman. Interpreting private affairs is a true portrayal of Ji Kang's life. Throughout the text, in addition to "the more famous the teaching, the more natural it is", there are four big words-give it to others!
It is also obvious that Fang was dumped by Ji Kang. The Book of Jin, which has always been concise, praised Ji Kang's Rong Zhi elegance in his biography:
Kang Zao is lonely, talented and far away from the crowd. He is seven feet eight inches long, with beautiful writing and graceful demeanor, while civil engineering is a mess and he doesn't decorate himself. People think dragons are elegant and natural. Quiet and dull, with dirt and flaws, there is a lot of generosity and simplicity. If you don't learn from your teachers, you can't pass the Expo, but you can grow up to be "old" and "Zhuang". Marry the imperial clan of Wei and worship Dr. China. I often feed on cultivation, play the piano and recite poems, and be self-sufficient in my arms.
Scholars in Wei and Jin dynasties began to express themselves by "carving feelings and cultivating capacity, taking Tao as a skill" Ji Kang is one of the absolute substitutes.
Ji Kang doesn't "carve love". He is self-indulgent, "quiet without desire", "the more famous he is, the more natural he is", "always plowing the fields, playing the piano and reciting poems, and being self-sufficient in his arms".
Ji Kang also does not "repair capacity". He is a "skeleton, not self-decorating", "containing dirt and hiding defects", and "the head and face are often not washed on January 15, and they are not stuffy or bathed." But he was born "seven feet eight inches" and "the dragon and phoenix are auspicious and natural."
Ji Kang's "Eternal Daoism" and "Talented people and beautiful women are not just now". He is "gifted, far away from the hubbub", "eloquent, personable", "learning from famous teachers, familiar with the Expo, good at" old "and" Zhuang ",but he is only" self-sufficient "
