Hengshui, founded in 195 1, is the first model high school in Hebei province. In recent years, the school has followed the school-running policy of "moral education, all-round quality, pursuit of Excellence and harmonious development", vigorously promoted quality education, comprehensively practiced five concepts, strived to improve management taste, activated the desire for independent innovation, stimulated the vitality of cultural creation, and promoted the scientific and harmonious development of the school. Since 2005, more than 70 national awards, including national civilized units, have been unsuccessful.

Adhering to the road of internationalization and openness, the school has not only established 15 foreign-friendly schools in Britain, the United States, South Korea, New Zealand and other countries, but also successfully approved the Confucius classroom project jointly established with Gross poynter Public School District in the United States.
