According to the decision of the Standing Committee of Hengshui Municipal People's Congress on the prohibition of fireworks and firecrackers, in 2023, the city will continue to implement the policy of banning fireworks and firecrackers throughout the year, and it is strictly forbidden to illegally sell, store, transport and set off fireworks and firecrackers. In violation of regulations, illegal sale, storage, transportation and discharge of fireworks and firecrackers shall be punished by the public security organs in accordance with the relevant provisions of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Public Security Administration Punishment Law, the People's Republic of China (PRC) Air Pollution Prevention Law and the Regulations on the Safety Management of Fireworks and Firecrackers. In order to protect our living homeland, make our air fresher, the environment more beautiful and the justice more secure, the following initiatives are hereby issued:

First, consciously abide by the ban on burning and releasing. Residents are required not to buy or set off fireworks and firecrackers, and to celebrate the festival in a safe, environmentally friendly and low-carbon way such as festive music, so that the concept of environmental protection can be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and contribute to protecting the clear water and blue sky and building a beautiful peach city.

Second, actively promote the prohibition of burning and releasing. Residents are requested to use Weibo, WeChat, mobile phone client and other emerging communication methods to publicize the benefits of not setting off fireworks and firecrackers to their relatives and friends, and strive to turn not setting off fireworks and firecrackers into residents' conscious behavior, so as to gather positive energy for environmental protection.

Three, supervise the implementation of the provisions of the ban on burning and burning. Residents are requested to give full play to their sense of responsibility and mission, not to set off fireworks and firecrackers at will in the forbidden area, but also to actively discourage and resist the uncivilized behavior of the surrounding people to set off fireworks and firecrackers at will, and completely eliminate potential safety hazards.
