Queen Elizabeth Hospital is the largest and oldest hospital in Barbados and the medical center of the whole Caribbean.

The outstanding performance of the medical team during the foreign aid period has been highly praised by the United Nations Development Programme, the National Health and Wellness Commission, the Embassy of China in Barbados, the Ministry of Health of Barbados and the aided hospitals.
