I have been a class teacher in a middle school for nearly 30 years, and I know that an excellent class group can't come into being spontaneously, nor will it come into being naturally with the passage of time. Only through the joint efforts of class members, especially the wisdom and creative work of the head teacher, can we gradually cultivate and support the real class collective. This paper intends to talk about some views on how to build excellent class groups.
First, unite people with the spirit of collectivism.
Suhomlinski, an educator in the former Soviet Union, believes that "collectivity" is a kind of "spiritual unity" [1]. It is not a simple combination of people, but an inseparable whole formed on this basis, just like "a river composed of thousands of streams" [2]. In other words, this collective is not an ordinary group; Once a collective is formed, its strength is greater than the sum of its members.
Then, as a class group, what can we rely on to unite dozens of students who don't know each other and have different personalities into an organic whole and produce a strong synergy? Relying on the spirit of collectivism and its strong cohesion, it aggregates individual thoughts, feelings and goals into collective thoughts, feelings and goals, thus effectively supporting the class collective construction.
Of course, the spirit of collectivism is neither inherent nor nihilistic. Need to be cultivated, can also be cultivated. The key is to effectively carry out collectivism ideological education and cultivate students' collective consciousness and sense of collective honor. Let every student know what a collective is, understand the relationship between individuals and the collective, correctly understand their position and role in the collective, and clearly understand their responsibilities and obligations to the collective, so as to consciously love and cherish the collective and associate their words and deeds with the collective honor.
Collective ideological education needs indoctrination, but it cannot rely solely on indoctrination, let alone on preaching. The most effective way to carry out collective ideological education is to organize collective activities. If a group does not carry out collective activities, individual students will not feel the existence and strength of the group, and they will not work hard and struggle for the honor of the group. In this way, the collective cohesion will certainly not be formed. After the new class collective combination, the most urgent need is to organize various forms of collective activities in a planned and purposeful way, endow them with positive significance and noble taste, and create a harmonious and upward collective psychological atmosphere, thus catalyzing the formation and development of students' collectivism spirit and improving their self-education consciousness. In order to strengthen the sense of collective honor, it is sometimes necessary to put the class collectively in a large group of grades, schools and even society, and carry out inter-class or inter-school competitions or networking activities, which will have better educational effects.
In carrying out class collective activities, we should pay attention to stimulating and mobilizing all students' subjective consciousness and participation consciousness, attach importance to the value of each student, let them become the masters of the group, play a leading role in the group activities, change passive acceptance into active adaptation, and realize self-education. Suhomlinski once said, "arouse people to realize that self-education is the real education" [3].
Second, guide people with correct collective public opinion.
Collective public opinion is the dominant opinion and opinion in the collective, which is recognized by most people. It affirms or denies the words and deeds of collective movements or collective members in the form of discussion or praise, and becomes a force to control individual or collective development. Positive and correct public opinion can play a role in distinguishing right from wrong, eliminating evil and strengthening the body, rallying people's hearts and inspiring people. Negative and wrong public opinion will play a negative role in confusing right and wrong, distracting people and poisoning the atmosphere. In the face of correct public opinion, collective members will consciously adjust the relationship between individuals and the collective, change their incompatible thoughts and behaviors, and put individuals in the collective, thus promoting the healthy growth of each member. An important task of class collective construction is to cultivate healthy and upward collective public opinion, make it an effective means of moral evaluation and students' self-education, and accelerate the formation of a good collective.
Just as collectivism ideological education needs to be realized by collective activities, correct collective public opinion is gradually cultivated and formed by carrying out a series of beneficial collective activities. It should be noted that the collective itself is a powerful educational force. A sound class group can cultivate people's sentiment, perfect people's personality and improve people's social consciousness and self-education consciousness in its activities. Therefore, we should be good at designing and organizing students to carry out various healthy and beneficial collective activities, and consciously cultivate and guide them in the activities.
In the process of guiding and cultivating correct collective public opinion, we should first let collective members understand and master correct values, ethics and standards for judging truth, goodness, beauty, falsehood, ugliness and ugliness, so as to promote the healthy development of their thoughts, improve the quality of collective public opinion and prevent unhealthy public opinion. At the same time, we should praise and criticize in the collective, which is very important for the formation of correct public opinion. We should always praise good people and deeds. Timely criticize and correct the wrong behaviors and all bad words and deeds that damage the collective progress and image, so as to support healthy fashion, restrain bad style, encourage enterprising, and always lead collective public opinion in the right direction. Praise and criticism should be realistic, objective and fair, beware of false exaggeration and avoid distortion of public opinion. Class public opinion positions should be established, such as holding class meetings and carrying out team activities, and the process of preparing and organizing activities should be regarded as cultivating and forming correct collective public opinion. Make full use of blackboard newspapers, wall newspapers, columns and class diaries to carry out education and publicity, strengthen the atmosphere of public opinion and promote the development of public opinion.
