From June 5, 2006 to February, 2006, the ——IT Volunteer Team, a branch of the Youth Volunteer Service Team, was established. In the process of maintenance, IT volunteers not only helped others, but also got technical exchange and promotion, and also enhanced their mastery of knowledge, so as to truly apply what they have learned.
Members of the volunteer team make full use of their spare time, actively participate in the service work of the volunteer team, provide compulsory computer maintenance services for teachers and students, and publicize the common knowledge of hardware maintenance, computer DIY skills and computer software usage during the service. Comprehensively improve and popularize students' computer knowledge. It provides great convenience for teachers and students. Our work has been unanimously recognized by teachers and students.
At the same time, actively participate in social practice activities such as "going to the countryside" and get out of the campus.
The focus of the IT volunteer team this semester is to take the Institute of Light Industry as the center and the Institute of Light Industry as the foundation, and undertake the responsibility of popularizing computer knowledge among all teachers and students in Nanhai Campus of the Institute of Light Industry. Our "IT Volunteer Team" is a brand team of Computer Engineering Department. With the slogan of "self-improvement, pragmatism, cooperation and innovation", we have been fighting for a long time in the front line of serving the teachers and students of the whole school, and with the concept of "learning from and serving the Institute of Optics", we will repair computers for students free of charge. Constantly communicate and cooperate with voluntary organizations in the same school or other schools to achieve mutual assistance and progress, and form the characteristics of activities based on professional ideological education and professional consciousness formation, based on institutions and facing the society.
The development of IT volunteers can not be separated from the trust and support of school leaders, teachers and students of the Department Youth League Committee.
