Construction started on September/KOOC-0/9, 2008, and it was put into use on September+0/KOOC-0/month/KOOC-0/day, 2065438. Xi North Station is 2 km away from the bell tower12 in the downtown of Xi, 3km away from the administrative center of Xi and 20km away from Xi Xianyang International Airport. It is the most important and largest railway passenger hub in the northwest of China, and it is also one of the main passenger stations of Xi Railway Hub.

Xi 'an North Station is the hub of Xu Lan Passenger Dedicated Line, Daxi Passenger Dedicated Line, Xicheng High-speed Railway, Yin Xi High-speed Railway, Baoxi High-speed Railway and Guanzhong Intercity Railway Network. It consists of three stations, 18 platform, 34 tracks and 34 platforms. High-speed railway station has the largest number of platforms and tracks in Asia. There is a connecting line between the three stations, which can realize interconnection and meet the needs of transportation organizations.

Xi North Station mainly handles the departure and arrival of medium and long-distance bullet trains for Zhengxi, Xibao, Daxi, Xicheng, Baoxi and Yinxi high-speed railways, and the bullet trains from Xicheng and Yinxi high-speed railways to Zhengxi, Daxi and Baoxi high-speed railways pass, while some bullet trains from Yinxi high-speed railway to Xiwu and Xiqiao high-speed railways pass. According to the design, Xi 'an North Station can handle 5 10 pairs of EMUs every day.
