Some people think that after nearly ten years of discussion, research and use, the historical task of the concept of digital divide, which once attracted widespread attention, has basically been completed. While affirming its historical significance, we should also look for an alternative concept to help us describe, identify and understand the important issues highlighted and triggered by the digital divide more accurately. On the premise of finding alternative ideas, some macro and general ideas (and slogans) like the digital divide came into being: big concepts such as technological inclusion, social inclusion, digital opportunity, digital inclusion and other ideas and suggestions triggered by these grand ideas have appeared in recent years. On the one hand, this reflects the world's enthusiasm for the digital divide, on the other hand, it also shows that the discussion in this area has entered a new stage of development and integration.
