In a construction tunnel in the Qinling Mountains of baoji-chengdu railway, when Du Pengcheng shook hands with Lu Mo Guo Jinsheng, he found that Guo Jinsheng had many small black spots on his palms and fingers. Under Du Pengcheng's questioning, Guo Jinsheng accidentally detonated the explosives in his hand when he dismantled the time bomb on the Korean battlefield. Iron filings flew into the meat, and over the years, small black spots formed on the skin surface of his hands. Guo Jinsheng said, "When you were holding a hammer, iron filings pierced your flesh. However, I am used to it, I can hold back and build roads. " Du Pengcheng's eyes glistened with tears after hearing these words. That night, he wrote this sentence: "Friends who can write poetry, come and praise the hands of the working people. This lot of handwriting has written down the whole history of our motherland! "

What I saw and felt during the construction of baoji-chengdu railway gave Du Pengcheng a very rich source of creation. He also recorded everything he saw with sincere feelings and wrote it in the article. The creation of the article Night Travel in Lingguan Gorge is a real experience of Du Pengcheng in Lingguan Gorge, Fengxian County, Baoji.
