During the six years from the construction of Baocheng Line in 1952 to the official operation of 1958, many scholars, journalists and tourists came here to record the great changes of Qin-Shu Road with pens and cameras in their hands, praising the bitter and sweet separation in the construction of baoji-chengdu railway, of which the most familiar one is Lingguan Gorge at night. This article eulogizing the builders of baoji-chengdu railway was once included in junior middle school Chinese textbooks, which inspired the growth of several generations. Its author is Du Pengcheng, a writer who has an indissoluble bond with Bao Chengxian.
Du Pengcheng (192 1 year ~ 199 1 year), a native of Hancheng, Shaanxi Province, was originally named Du Hongxi, a modern writer. He is the author of the novel Defending Yan 'an, the novella Peacetime, the short story Young Friends, and Selected Novels of Du Pengcheng. Most of Du Pengcheng's novels are major themes, focusing on the mental outlook of the characters coming out of severe struggles and tests.
More than 50 kinds of books, newspapers, picture books, badges and other items related to baoji-chengdu railway, Chen Zhe are displayed in the baoji-chengdu railway Literature Exhibition Room at Qinling Railway Station. Among them, 1993 The Collected Works of Du Pengcheng (First Edition) published by Shaanxi People's Publishing House in June is particularly noticeable.
A set of four books contains not only the novel Defending Yan 'an and the novella In a Peaceful Day, but also many works that record the author's experience during the construction of baoji-chengdu railway. Night Travel in Lingguan Gorge is included in the second volume of the anthology.
Turning to the first volume of the anthology, the words "Baoji-Chengdu railway people moved the world poetically" jumped to the page. This anthology was presented by Zhang Wenbin, a fan of Du Pengcheng, when he visited baoji-chengdu railway Literature Exhibition Hall in Xi Communication Section in early October19.
According to teacher Zhang Wenbin's memory, Du Pengcheng and baoji-chengdu railway have a very deep friendship. At the beginning of the founding of New China, after completing the revision of Defending Yan 'an, he actively devoted himself to the construction of new China. He walked through the Yangtze River Bridge, yingtan-Xiamen Railway and other national construction sites, and finally came to baoji-chengdu railway.
After coming to baoji-chengdu railway, he regarded himself as a builder, lived and worked with the workers, helped them write letters, taught them to read and read some classic articles. After a long time, the workers liked this simple writer and affectionately called him "Lao Du".
Among them, Du Pengcheng has a short story about "Lao Du", which is still fresh in everyone's memory. In a construction tunnel in the Qinling Mountains of baoji-chengdu railway, when Du Pengcheng shook hands with Lu Mo Guo Jinsheng, he found that Guo Jinsheng had many small black spots on his palms and fingers. Under Du Pengcheng's questioning, Guo Jinsheng accidentally detonated the explosives in his hand when he dismantled the time bomb on the Korean battlefield. Iron filings flew into the meat, and over the years, small black spots formed on the skin surface of his hands. Guo Jinsheng said, "When you were holding a hammer, iron filings pierced your flesh. However, I am used to it, I can hold back and build roads. " Du Pengcheng's eyes glistened with tears after hearing these words. That night, he wrote this sentence: "Friends who can write poetry, come and praise the hands of the working people. This lot of handwriting has written down the whole history of our motherland! "
What I saw and felt during the construction of baoji-chengdu railway gave Du Pengcheng a very rich source of creation. He also recorded everything he saw with sincere feelings and wrote it in the article. The creation of the article Night Travel in Lingguan Gorge is a real experience of Du Pengcheng in Lingguan Gorge, Fengxian County, Baoji. The article truly reproduces the fiery scene during the construction of baoji-chengdu railway in those years, eulogizing the confidence and determination of railway people to always listen to the Party, always follow the Party, be brave in suffering, and overcome many difficulties to get through the great channel in the southwest of the motherland. In the article, Bao Cheng said softly: "No matter who you are, you must live in Kang (Hou)." In addition, Du Pengcheng also wrote several articles describing the construction of baoji-chengdu railway, such as Night at the Construction Site, An Ordinary Woman, Career of a Hero and Qinling Construction Site.
"In Qinling Construction Site" tells such a story. The flood of Jialing River flooded the bridge leading to the other side of the river. Regardless of his life, a young railway man pulled up an iron rope and jumped into the rushing river, swam to the other side, and set up a conveyor belt to provide materials for the workers in front. In fact, this is just the epitome of Du Pengcheng's countless baoji-chengdu railway builders. Although the conditions were simple and the task was arduous at that time, the builders of baoji-chengdu railway still shouted the slogan of "hard work, hard work and dedication, and early opening to traffic". From Guanyin Mountain to Qingshi Cliff, climbing the Qinling Mountains and crossing Bashan Mountain, the builders opened roads on every mountain and bridged bridges when encountering water. This group of respectable railway road builders, with their youth and even their lives, have opened up this road to Shu, established immortal feats, and left a great legacy for the new China railway construction.
In the new era, baoji-chengdu railway is still the main channel connecting southwest China. The first electrified railway in New China, with a total length of 668. 198 km, starts from Baoji, Shaanxi Province in the north and ends in Chengdu, Sichuan Province in the south, and plays a stunning and gorgeous movement on the land of China.
