The Male Rights Movement (MRM) was a social movement initiated in the early 1970s, which was separated from the women's liberation movement (New Left). Patriarchal Movement (MRM) is regarded as a strong resistance or reverse movement of feminism, and is usually regarded as the result of the threat of traditional gender roles.

The movement of men's rights involves many related laws (including marriage and family law, support law, birth law and domestic violence related laws and regulations), government functions (including education law, compulsory military service system and social security) and health law. They think that these laws discriminate against men and are not good for them.
