At the end of March, 2002/kloc-0, Coca-Cola announced a new advertising slogan: "TheCokeSideofLife" and set the theme as "Happiness in a Bottle".
"We live in a world that faces many choices every day. This choice has created our own life. The cola side of life is to inspire everyone to choose a correct and happy life. " MarcMathieu, senior vice president of Coca-Cola, said, "Our new slogan is to appeal to everyone to know their real life, listen to their natural voices and feel that life is full of colors." The key image of the new advertising series is Coca-Cola's curved glass bottle, and some advertisements highlight the bubbling sound just poured out.
Some critics believe that the overall strategy of Coca-Cola brand seems to have returned to the traditional style. In traditional Coca-Cola advertisements, "bright red colors, flying ribbons and curved glass bottles all have incalculable magic." Bob Garfield of AdvertisingAge Media said, "The bubbling sound when soft drinks are poured out is the most charming, fascinating and mouth-watering sound in the world." Nowadays, advertisements also emphasize what was once valued.
