When I first came, there were five teaching buildings and two dormitory buildings. At that time, 1 and No.2 dormitories were not built, and now they are the "comprehensive building" of Shahe Campus-the canteen. A school with more than 3,000 students and less than 4,000 students is really not much better than my high school except the school area (including various forms of wasteland).
At that time, there were only first-class students when we went, so the canteen had only one floor, and the second and third floors were used in physical education class when it was cold. I still remember learning to play five-step boxing on the third floor of the canteen in winter. Later, after two sessions of students, the second floor of the canteen was opened, and the third floor of the canteen was opened when we were nearing graduation.
The picture below shows the bright future that the director of Shahe Management Committee showed us when we participated in the selection of science experimental classes in the summer before enrollment. Now students in Shahe can see how many buildings have not been built.

Shahe campus is relatively pure. On the one hand, purity is helpless. After all, it means that the outside world has nothing to do with you. On the other hand, it is rare to have such space and time to arrange my own study, although my study is just so-so. Therefore, after living in Shahe for two years, I still miss it a little. Up to now, I have graduated from undergraduate study for four or five years, and I am still thinking that if I can go back, I will put myself in a pure environment and concentrate on scientific research. I heard that the graduate students in our department will move back to Shahe again, and I don't know whether to be happy or cursed.
The biggest feature of Beihang University is probably that the school's style of study is better. Many times you don't want to go to the study room, but your classmates have gone, so you have to follow. Doing so will be more or less beneficial to your study and life. In addition, you can cultivate good buddies. At least, people in our class have deep feelings for each other. The final farewell dinner is even more tragic.
Another big feature of Beihang University is that it is used to making many arrangements for students' study and life: the courses are also full, and there are certain requirements for work and rest, especially Shahe. The advantage of this is that you only need to follow the rules step by step. The shortcomings are also obvious. Most students are actually confused and don't know what they are doing, so everyone should read more books, cultivate interest and plan the future, otherwise it is not worth wasting a few years.
Finally, although the wind is strong in Shahe Campus, the air is really good. When I first came here, it was 20 10, which was the year of PM2.5. I also said that the air in Beijing was obviously good. Why do some people say that there is smog in Beijing? Therefore, students in Shahe campus should take more deep breaths and become vacuum cleaners when they return to the city.
