I think the Hong Kong and Macao Pass team can join the tour group on their own, but they need to go in and out with the group. The loss or damage of the certificate may affect the use.

Travel endorsement shall not be used for other reasons than group travel. If the certificate is lost or damaged, it should be reissued or renewed in time.
