China (Tianjin) Pilot Free Trade Zone
Strategic positioning. With institutional innovation as the core task and replicability and popularization as the basic requirements, we will strive to become a high-level open platform for the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, a pioneering zone for national reform and opening up, an experimental field for institutional innovation, and a high-level free trade park facing the world.
Overall goal. After three to five years of reform and exploration, the Pilot Free Trade Zone will be built into a world-class free trade park with free trade, convenient investment, high-end industrial agglomeration, standardized legal environment, efficient and convenient supervision and obvious radiation-driven effect, which will play a leading role in the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the economic transformation and development of China.
Scope of implementation. The implementation scope of the Pilot Free Trade Zone is 1 19.9 square kilometers, covering three areas: Tianjin Port Area is 30 square kilometers (including Dongjiang Bonded Port Area 10 square kilometers), Tianjin Airport Area is 43. 1 square kilometers (including the airport part of Tianjin Port Bonded Zone 1 square kilometers, Binhai)
Division of functions. According to the regional layout, Tianjin Port Area focuses on developing shipping logistics and international trade, while Tianjin Airport Area focuses on developing high-end manufacturing and R&D design such as aerospace, equipment manufacturing and next-generation information technology.
