In China, "greenway" has three concepts: landscape design, sociology and transportation.
First of all, in terms of design, it refers to a "green" landscape route. Generally, natural and artificial corridors such as riverside, valley, ridge, scenic roads and ditches are built for tourists and cyclists to roam, forming a strip-shaped landscape patch corridor closely integrated with the natural ecological environment, undertaking the flow of information, energy and materials, promoting the effective circulation within the landscape ecosystem and strengthening the connection between dense patches.
Secondly, in sociology, we not only build a "green road" in nature, but also lay a "green road" in people's hearts, so that the government can communicate smoothly with the people, so that the people can express their interests without obstacles and fear, and improve the "livable level" of spiritual life.
Thirdly, in transportation, it refers to a green open space corridor system which is based on natural elements, with natural and human landscape river leisure facilities as series nodes and composed of slow-moving systems and service facilities.
