The Medical College of Jinzhou Medical University is located in Jinzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in western Liaoning with beautiful scenery. It is an undergraduate full-time private ordinary college with independent legal personality organized by Jinzhou Medical University. Its predecessor was the former Jinzhou Medical College Branch, which was established in July 1999. At that time, it was one of the second-level branch schools held by nine universities in Liaoning Province. Approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2004, it was transformed into an independent college according to the new mechanism and new model.
