Any poem that is ordered to be a poem or to extract the sentences of predecessors should add the word "Fu De" to its title, which belongs to the latter. As can be seen from the title of the poem, this poem is about the moon. Most ancient literati in China liked to sing praises to the moon, and often used the moon to express their feelings of life and place their feelings, so there were many poems about the moon. For example, "Who sees the moon by the river, when the bright moon shines on people" expresses the poet's thinking about life and historical changes through chanting the moon; "The foot of my bed is shining so brightly. Is it frosty already?" We are familiar with it, but the poet pinned his thoughts on his hometown on the bright moon and vividly expressed his true feelings. Most ancient poems describe the full moon, while those that occasionally describe the waning moon are often shrouded in a cold and sad atmosphere. For example, Li Yu's "Wu Ye Tune": "Without words, I go to the West Chamber alone, the moon is like a hook, and the solitary phoenix tree locks in the deep courtyard in autumn", which expresses the author's loneliness. However, Yuan Zongdao's seven-character poems are not. When he wrote Canyue, he expressed his optimism about life, which is unique among many poems about the moon.
The first couplet, "One hook hung at dusk, and the other half hung in the fog", directly pointed out the significance of the problem and described the form of the lack of the moon. The author vividly depicts the characteristics of the new moon and the waning moon with the words "one hook" and "half off", and compares them in the form of intertextuality, accurately depicting their similarities. The use of the word "Zeng" can better reflect that the new moon in the past has turned into the waning moon today. Writing the moon with the words "Hang" and "Hang" adds a sense of movement to the picture. These two poems are ingeniously opposed, using nature, and the new moon that once hung in the dusk evolved into the waning moon in the mist, giving people a sense of artistic conception. China's ancient poems often describe the scenery in a few words, express his thoughts and feelings through the description of the scenery, or expose the truth through the natural scenery, and then combine his own life experience to explain his personal views on things. In my opinion, this poem is the same. Although the first couplet only describes the natural scenery, it is closely related to the later couplets, because it reveals the fact that the waning moon and the early moon have the same shape, which lays a good foundation for the later discussion. After describing the shape of the moon, the author began to describe his subjective mentality and behavior: "When you get drunk, you suddenly lose your mind about the clock and wander in the mountains, mistaking the summit for the west and the east", and wrote his inner confusion, that is, because you are drunk, you can't tell the morning and evening, and you can't tell the way if you want to go out and wander. Couplets often have the function of connecting the preceding with the following, but it seems that this has nothing to do with the first couplet. When I first read this poem, I realized that it was a bit abrupt here, as if I had broken the whole poem. But after reading it several times, through the analysis of relevant notes, I found that it expressed the author's broad-minded and optimistic mentality and the beautiful character of "not being happy with things, not being sad for oneself". This specific description is actually the best vivid proof of the following discussion, which makes the following discussion convincing.
The sentence "change from other five-mile stems and branches, like flying moths and eyebrows" directly expresses the author's point of view and is the essence of the whole poem. Although this sentence is difficult to understand, if we analyze the words one by one, we can understand the meaning of this poem. "Wu Li" refers to the calendar, and "moth eyebrow" describes the shape of the moon. The main idea of this poem is that the passage of time cannot be changed, so there is no need to worry about the constant change of the calendar. Whether it is a new moon or a waning moon, their shapes are the same. So don't overemphasize the circle of the moon, just grasp the present, accompanying the moon is a kind of enjoyment of life. I think this is very enlightening for us. Too many people lament because time flies, so that their lives are shrouded in faint sadness, they can't really release their hearts, live freely and naturally, and waste their time. Poets not only feel from the heart, but also hope that others and poets have the same feelings, so as to actively face the passage of time, grasp the moment of reality and live a free and easy life. The author further expressed his feelings, "Andrew's life is like the moon, and his head is like a child", expressing the author's good wishes for life, comparing the moon with life, and hoping that life will be like the moon. Since the new moon can be the same as the waning moon, can the dusk of life be compared with the newborn? Although it can't be the same in form, it can grasp the heart. Even if you are white-haired, you can still have a pure childlike innocence and live easily, freely and freely.
In a word, the author expresses his positive attitude towards life and optimistic and open-minded mind from an unusual angle, and at the same time gives people profound enlightenment. This idea is novel and unconventional. Although it is a lyric work, the feelings expressed are no longer limited to personal vision, but more about the philosophy of life, which makes people feel shocked to read.
