I came to Gankeng Hakka Town in Buji Street, Shenzhen on weekends, which has a unique taste of Jiangnan Town. There are many Hakka dwellings, which are surrounded by mountains and rivers and connected with lanes, just like a picture scroll.
In addition, buildings with amorous feelings, such as gun tower, watchtower, arcade and diaojiao building, are integrated into the landscape, forming a unique Hakka cultural carrier with hundreds of years of Hakka old houses.

Travel notes of Hakka town in Gankeng;
My favorite is the Family Style Family Training Hall, which is on the third floor of the Diaojiao Building behind the comprehensive building. Walking in is the sculpture of Confucius, an ancient saint in China. I have great respect for this saint and have no hesitation in taking a photo with him.
There are family precepts of ancient China literati and heroes, such as Laozi, Mozi, Zhu, Zeng Guofan, and many genealogies.
Fortunately, I have Shen Shi's genealogy, and my surname is the same. You can dig up your ancestors if you are not careful. It seems that I really should get out more.
The most amazing thing is that the layout of ancient buildings in China is exquisite, the buildings are densely distributed, and the passages and corridors are in line with human nature, cohesive and not crowded;
The architectural design is magnificent, reflecting the harmony and tranquility of China culture everywhere;
The exquisite skills of craftsmen are displayed here in an unobstructed view. The magnificent and complex buildings are all tenon-mortise structures, which fully embodies the craftsman spirit of the old craftsmen and the hardworking and dedicated spirit of the Chinese nation.
Shuttling through the picturesque and Hakka-style town, the smell of delicious food comes to the nose, which makes people have to mention all kinds of delicious food here, including snacks in Taiwan Province Province, Hakka cakes, stinky tofu from Changsha, and even attractive slogans on signboards and provocative shouts from shopkeepers.
Unable to resist the temptation of delicious food, we walked into a Hakka-style restaurant and ordered Hakka kiln chicken and traditional side dishes. It tastes good, especially the skin of kiln chicken is tender and greasy, which really laments the wisdom and hard work of Hakka people and does not forget to appreciate the delicious food.
A Hakka town vividly interprets Hakka culture. It never occurred to me that Shenzhen, a city with a fast pace of life and modern prosperity, and such a quiet paradise full of China culture and reflecting a slow life are good places for us to live and rest.
