The collection value of RMB is determined by two aspects: one is its preciousness, and the other is its scarcity.
First, precious
The preciousness of RMB is mainly evaluated according to the political and historical background, face characteristics, year number and crown number of RMB tickets. For example, the front and back of the first set of RMB 200 yuan Foxiang Pavilion tickets were engraved with two political propaganda slogans: "Liberate all China" and "Support Chairman Mao's peaceful conditions", which fully reflected the revolutionary situation and political goals at that time and were precious revolutionary cultural relics.
Second, scarcity.
The scarcity of RMB is mainly evaluated according to the number of paper money. The date of issue, face value, number of digits in the crown word and the method of currency withdrawal are all evaluation marks. Generally speaking, the earlier RMB is issued, the scarcer it is, because it is difficult to keep paper money for a long time. For example, the first issue of the third set of RMB is 1960 Bordeaux 1 dime and 1962 back green watermark 1 dime. Now it is hard to see in the market, and it is the most scarce two banknotes in the third set of RMB.
