The hub project consists of three parts: dam, power station and ship lock. The dam is a masonry gravity dam with a total length of 242.05 meters, of which the overflow dam is 14 1.75 meters, accounting for 60% of the total length. The overflow dam is a non-vacuum type, with an elevation of 88.8m at the top of the weir, an 8× 5.2m (width× height) 15-hole steel radial gate, and a continuous nose sill for energy dissipation. The powerhouse behind the dam is located at the downstream of the non-overflow dam on the right bank, with four units with a single capacity of 7,500 kW. Four diversion pipes with a diameter of 3.5 meters and a length of 50 meters take water directly from the reservoir, and the maximum drainage capacity of each pipe is 35.7 cubic meters. The ship lock is arranged on the left bank of the dam, with a single line and two stages, with a total head of 28 meters. It consists of the upper and lower approach channels, the first, second and third lock heads, the first and second lock chambers and the transition section. For masonry reinforced concrete structure, the ship lock is designed with an annual freight volume of 700,000 tons. Due to various reasons, the lock has been in operation for nearly 30 years, and the annual freight volume is less than 6,543,800 tons.
The reservoir is mainly irrigated, taking into account the comprehensive utilization benefits such as power generation, flood control, shipping and aquaculture. Yangtanba diversion project is built at downstream 18km. After the completion of Shaoshan Irrigation District in June, 1966 irrigated one million mu of farmland with a flow of 44.5s cubic meters. The original designed average power generation and guaranteed output of the power station for many years are 65.438+0.09 billion kWh and 5,350 kW respectively. After review, due to the large original design runoff, the tail water level rose, the downstream irrigation water consumption increased, and the compensation regulation flow increased, which decreased to 88.6 million kWh and 4,700 kW respectively. Due to the limitation of upstream inundation, the reservoir has no reserved storage capacity for flood control. Only the storage capacity above the normal high water level can be used for flood detention and storage, so as to reduce some flood peaks. In addition, the downstream Hunan water is allowed to discharge safely and the peak is staggered along the side, so as to minimize the downstream flood hazard.
The project started in September 1958, the dam was completed in September/959, the reservoir was filled in July/960, the first unit was put into operation in September of the same year, and the ship lock was completed in February/963.
Shuifumiao Reservoir, also known as Xikou Reservoir, is located in the east of Loudi City, spanning Louxing District, Xiangxiang County and Shuangfeng County. Cut-off ripple water, with a storage capacity of 560 million cubic meters, equivalent to nine West Lakes in Hangzhou, is the source of Shaoshan irrigation area.
Reservoir coastline 100 km, reservoir 100 km, 34 islands, the largest 3 square kilometers. The water quality of the reservoir is excellent, the blue waves are rippling and the waterfowl are playing. The surface of the reservoir is foggy in winter and spring, cloudy in summer and autumn, sunny, full of sunset clouds and colorful weather. The coastal peninsula is towering into the sky, with criss-crossing harbors, willow stars on the shore, lush flowers and trees, bursts of fragrant rice, green tea gardens, fragrant oranges and pomelo, full of pastoral poetry. There is also a ceramic minority school with a long history and considerable influence at home and abroad, the ancient temple Jixiang Temple. It is an ideal place for tourism, vacation and water sports training. It has been listed as the key investigation area of Hunan tourism resources, and a water scenic tourist area is being planned.
