Who knows the gang code
The argot and poems of Hong Kong underworld are mainly inherited from China and Hong Men. China's Hong Men organization takes "anti-Qing and regaining sight" as its purpose, and its actions are inevitably extremely secretive. In order to distinguish between the enemy and ourselves, Hong Men figures have formulated a set of poetic argots to replace the common etiquette of contacting each other. This set of poetry argot has been modified by the phonology of Hong Kong underworld and Guangzhou dialect and has become a gangster language with its own characteristics.

Hong Kong's underworld organizations, if formally accepted by Big Brother, will be taught some frequently asked poems and gestures when they first arrive, which are called "crossing the border". Otherwise, when they are questioned by other blacks and don't know how to answer, they will often be accused of being "hillbilly flowers" and may even be beaten. Therefore, we must be familiar with the gestures of "Bao" and "Seal" and the four poems of "Feng", "Liu", "Bao" and "Seal", as well as the position of "going through five customs", in order to become an orthodox "black figure".

Q: You are your company's answer: I am an "old crooked mouth" (also called "crooked mouth" because the word "he" is beside me).

Q: Who is your "big boss" and who is your "immediate boss"? A: XX is my' big boss' and XX is my' immediate boss'.

The so-called "big brother" is the big brother who directly accepts himself as a protege, while the "guru" is the "incense teacher" when he joined the incense hall. If you belong to the "hanging blue lights" team, then only "big brother" has no "top master". At this time, the interrogator will further ask the interrogator to hand over the treasure and seal. If the interrogators despise each other, they can also retort with a straight face:' Why can't I hand over the treasure and seal?' If the other side is outnumbered and can't help but give in to the forces, then we have to humble ourselves and hand over the precious seal.

The so-called "treasure" means to make a fist with the left hand and erect the middle finger alone, while "seal" means to put the thumb, index finger and ring finger of the right hand together, usually first left and then right, then "treasure" and then "seal". At this point, if there is no enmity between the two sides and the interrogators don't want to make a big deal out of it, it's "so far". If they deliberately make trouble, they will continue to cross-examine Feng, Liu, Bao and Yin.

Feng Shi: Say I am the wind, not the wind. Colorful flags are fighting. On the left is the Dragon, Tiger, Tortoise and Snake Society, and on the right is the longevity and harmony of tigers. The content of the wind poem is to describe Muyang City, which was set up when the incense hall was opened, and fifteen faces represent the figures of the former, middle and later five Zushuaiqi respectively.

Liu Shi: It is said that I am a member of the underworld. Some people think that I only refer to the Hong Men organization in Guangdong, because there are three rivers in Guangdong: Dongjiang, Xijiang and Beijiang. However, another explanation points out that the name "triad" originated from the failure of Chen Jinnan, the first incense owner in Hong Men, who led the uprising and died in Gao Xi Temple in Huizhou, Guangdong. His followers supported Tian Youhong (formerly known as Su) and continued to struggle with the Qing court. It is also known as the "underworld" because it thinks that the weather, location and people are just right.

Bao Shi: Bay after bay. My family used to live in Wuzhishan, looking for the third room around Gusao Temple. Yongzheng 1 1 year, Hong Men leader Zheng Junda, his wife Guo Xiuying and his sister. He led the Qing soldiers to fight guerrilla warfare and moved to several provinces. Zheng Junda was killed by Qing soldiers. Guo Xiuying and Zheng Yulan's sister-in-law still lead the resistance movement. Later, he was besieged by Qing soldiers near Xiangyang, Hubei Province. They didn't want to be humiliated by being captured, so they both threw themselves into the river. Fisherman Xie Bangheng picked up their bodies, buried them with gifts, and built a grave and a temple for them by the river. Some of the remaining disciples moved to Wuzhishan, Hainan Island, and heard the news and came to worship. This poem "Treasure" is probably about this.

Seal poem: If Jin Lan, the Indian master, is invited to take the triangular marriage as a pledge, Qi Xin will work together to lead Chen Jinnan, an ally of Hong Men, to the throne, and lead his disciples to confront the Qing soldiers. They are trapped in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, and forced to break through separately. In order to make a comeback, they will leave a poem for everyone:' Five people are separated by a poem, but no one knows about Hong Ying. This story was told to all the brothers. When they met, it was a sign of mutual recognition. Because the day of the breakthrough was the 24th day of the first lunar month, it is recorded that the thumb, forefinger and ring finger of the right hand were found together. The content of' printed poems' is related to this legend. )

Gangsters cross-examine each other, usually here. But someone asked about "going through five customs". The so-called "five customs and six generals" is divided into five parts and five names from shoulder to palm with the right hand.

Interrogators need to wrap the thumb and forefinger of their left hand around one circle and straighten the other three fingers, which is called' three handfuls and a half incense'. Then they put their left hand on the part shown on the right and read the names from top to bottom, hence the name' going through five customs'.

Gao Xi Temple': refers to the followers of Chen Jinnan, the incense owner of Hong Men, who swore to resist the Qing soldiers in Gao Xi Temple near Xun You Town, Huizhou, Guangdong.

"Wulonggang" refers to the time when five monks in the Qing Dynasty escaped from the Fire Temple. When I arrived in Wulonggang, I was almost chased by the Qing soldiers. Fortunately, I escaped bravely. In fact, where the post of Oolong is, no one can confirm it, and it may just be a legend. There is another saying that Wan Yunlong, the head of Hong Men, was buried in Wulonggang after his death.

Cheung Sha Wan': Not Cheung Sha Wan in Kowloon, but when Shaolin Temple was burned, * * * 18 monks went in and fled, and 13 people died when they fled to Cheung Sha Wan, leaving only five people, namely Cai Dezhong, Fang Dahong, Hu Dedi, Ma Chaoxing and Li Shikai. These are the "five great ancestors" of Hong Men. When the Qing soldiers approached again,

Second Banqiao': The explanation is the same as above.

For the explanation of' menstruation Tomb', see above.

Interrogation between black people like this does not always happen when the two organizations confront each other head-on, and there is also friction between the two tangkou. In order to avoid "sheep" (involving non-black people), we will first cross-examine and prove that the people present are indeed of the same kind before starting negotiations. Here are a few more poems about underworld culture: poems about protecting women: (that is, accepting female disciples)

At sunrise, a small red lotus in the east is placed in the middle of the road. Brother Yi is picking flowers elsewhere. This flower is just a kind of oath poem by Jin Lan: (every sentence is a word of the title of the poem)

There are two piles of sand on the king's waist, flowers on the east wall, silk thread on the needle and eleven sips of wine. Lamb is my sword poem: This Dao is not uncommon, but Hong Men's loyal Dao. Half of his brother's hair was not killed. The soldiers are ambitious. Social poetry: wet hair, poor family, little reading of the Five Classics. Brother Wang Wan is willing to guide me to remember the big poem when Hua Ting took the oath: (outsole: straw sandals, paper fans, red sticks, etc.)

The dragon's tail, the blue sky and a pinch of heart incense were sworn years ago. On the Honghua Pavilion in Jinlanri, our signature poem is "Harmony wins": the name of this hall is Harmony wins, and the golden signboard is not afraid of wind and rain at the bottom. Over the past 60 years, I have been dancing with Tianqi's "Fourteen K" poems: the signboard is dispatched, and the heavenly king vows fourteen times to ensure that China enjoys peace. The swear words used by Hong Kong gangsters are totally different from those used by gangs such as Hong Gang, green gang and Paoge in China, which may be due to the differences in dialects, and the swear words used by Hong Kong gangsters and Guangzhou gangsters are also different, which may be the "innovative" performance of Hong Kong gangsters in the Hong Kong environment.

But in numbers, the two places pronounce one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine and ten as Liu, Yue, Wang, Ze, Zhong, Chen, Xing, Zhang, Cliff and Bamboo respectively, but they are exactly the same.

Because what Hong Kong underworld does runs counter to normal social morality, laws and regulations and is not tolerated by society, its way of existence and its own development are completely different from ordinary organizations.

Its organizational system and poetic argot have also been continuously inherited. We can't directly see the inevitable connection between them and the crimes committed by the underworld from the organizational system and poetry argot, but what is certain is that an ordinary person, who formally enters the underworld and becomes a member of it, must consciously or unconsciously learn and accept the organizational norms of the underworld. When he agrees with these norms (voluntarily or involuntarily) and is familiar with this cultural form, in addition to the evil nature of members' own greed and unscrupulous satisfaction of their own desires, the power of this culture is more penetrating and infectious.
