AKG's most famous products in the field of professional audio are professional headphones and microphones. In the past 73 years, AKG has designed and produced more than 65,438+000 kinds of professional headphones for different purposes, including communication headphones, professional monitor headphones, TV audio headphones, mono headphones, four-channel headphones, infrared wireless headphone and cinema surround sound headphones.
Dr Rudolf Goerike and Ernst Pless established AKG company Akustische und Kino-Geraete in 1947, which means sound and film equipment. As the name implies, the company's initial business was to develop and manufacture phonographs, speakers and other audio equipment for cinemas and other institutions.
In the same year, the two also produced the company's first microphone, C 1, but only six were produced throughout the year. Two years later, based on this product, an epoch-making C 12 electronic tube microphone was born, and its first users included the famous BBC radio station. Because of its excellent performance, this model is still in production today.
