Guangzhou Railway Station, located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China, is a special station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. It is the intersection of guangzhou-shenzhen railway, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, guangzhou-maoming railway, Guangzhou-Fo-Zhao Intercity Railway and Guangzhou Metro Lines 2 and 5. It is one of the most important railway passenger stations in Guangzhou and one of the major railway hub stations in China.

The main building of Guangzhou Railway Station is four stories high and adopts the indoor garden layout of Lingnan traditional buildings. The left, middle and right parts are separated by gardens. The station is equipped with green landscape, goldfish pond and small bridge, and sandalwood trees and bamboo are planted in the small garden. A big clock with a height of 4.5 meters and a width of 5 meters was erected in the center of the facade of the main building of the railway station.

The most distinctive feature of Guangzhou Railway Station is the slogan of "reunifying the motherland and rejuvenating China" on both sides of the station building. After the reform and opening up, Guangzhou, as the frontier of reform and opening up, was the first city for compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas Chinese to enter the mainland of the motherland, and Guangzhou Railway Station was an important gateway to the south of the motherland, so this slogan has stood at the top of the station so far.
