It is often windy this season, and yellow sand is raised by the river. This time, there was no wind and the weather was very good.

I still remember when I first arrived in Tibet, it was desolate everywhere. It is also this season, and there is almost no green. Expressway is a narrow gravel road, nicknamed "washboard road" There are stones and yellow sand everywhere, and there are few trees and grasslands. The car jolted badly on it. It's very sad to leave home from my beautiful hometown for the first time.

Generally speaking, there are no four seasons here: spring, summer, autumn and winter. There are two seasons in a year: the windy season and the rainy season. Every year165438+1October _ March is called windy season, and April _ 65438+1October is rainy season.

There is no rain in windy season, except snow, only sandstorms. When there is a strong wind in the afternoon, only yellow sand flies all over the sky. On the riverside, the visibility is extremely low, about 50-80 meters, and it is difficult for the plane to land.

Last year, on the construction site by the river, a cooperative unit from Hubei saw this sandstorm for the first time and shouted, "It's horrible, sandstorm." In fact, what they see is the scene after treatment. Trees are planted on the wasteland on a large scale every year. Year after year, many places become trees and forests, and sandstorms are much better. People's awareness of environmental protection has also improved a lot, the protection of trees and thorns has been strengthened day by day, and the environment has changed a lot. In particular, there are a large number of ornamental plants in the city, such as cherry blossoms, Xifu begonia, red peach and so on. The local flowers in Ge Sang are very beautiful in summer.

This year, we continue to plant trees on the wasteland by the river. It is all yellow sand without soil. I don't know what tree we planted. This is a bare root, but it is easy to survive. I hope that with everyone's efforts, the wasteland can become an oasis.

Everyone soon planted trees in full swing, then got together for dinner, bought pickled buns and the like, sat on the floor in the sand, drank butter tea and green tea, and some brought home-cooked mutton, potatoes, blood sausage and air-dried beef, which had a unique flavor. In the past, after such labor or activities, everyone would get together to sing and drink. This is a country of wine and a sea of songs. Now this kind of activities are gradually cancelled, mainly considering safety and efficiency. So I finished watering in the afternoon and returned by car.
