On April 30th, the enlarged meeting of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee was held in Chengnanzhuang, Fuping County, Hebei Province, where the Shanxi-Hebei-Chaji Military Region is located. The meeting discussed and adopted the revised "Slogan to Commemorate Labor Day in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China". The day was officially released by Xinhua News Agency in northern Shaanxi, and Xinhua Radio also broadcast it. On May 1 day, the headline of Jinchaji Daily published "May 1 Slogan". On May 2nd, the headline of People's Daily was published in full.
