Beijing South Railway Station, also known as "South Railway Station", namely the former Yongdingmen Railway Station, is located at Yongwai Station Road, Chongwen District, Beijing. Before 2006, Beijing South Railway Station mainly provided local trains and short-distance transportation services.

Beijing South Railway Station adopts decentralized ticketing mode, with external ticketing hall and internal ticketing window. There are four ticketing halls on the east and west sides of the elevated waiting floor on the second floor above ground, four ticketing areas on the west side of the first floor below ground, and a number of ticketing points are reserved. The ground floor is a transfer space for the whole station, with 909 parking berths on the upper and lower floors, covering an area of 1 19940 square meters, and the east and west edges are passenger exit halls. The second floor underground is the platform of Beijing-Hong Kong Metro Line 4. The third floor underground is the platform of Beijing Metro 14 line. Sunken plaza will be built in the north of Beijing South Railway Station, with bus departure station and taxi stop, and bus stop in the south square with more than 20 bus lines.
